AIER and HYPERNET Forge Partnership to Advance Safe Research and Technology Transfer

Cyberjaya, Malaysia –25 December 2024- The Association of Innovative Educational Research (AIER) and Hypernet Pte. Ltd. have formalised a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in their shared vision to promote safe research and innovative technology transfer practices.



This collaboration combines AIER's expertise as a nonprofit organisation that fosters secure, strategic, and sustainable technology ecosystems with Hypernet's cutting-edge blockchain-powered financial infrastructure solutions. The two entities aim to explore synergies in research, advocacy, and policy initiatives to address critical challenges in emerging technologies.



Key focus areas of the partnership include:

  1. Workshops and Seminars: Co-hosting events on safe research, intellectual property (IP) management and commercialisation, cybersecurity, and anti-money laundering practices.
  2. Policy Advocacy: Jointly drafting policies to enhance safety protocols and response strategies for secure technology transfer across academic and industrial sectors.
  3. Emerging Technology Initiatives: Developing frameworks to ensure responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence technologies.
  4. Awareness Programs: Launching outreach initiatives to educate stakeholders on the importance of safe and sustainable technological practices.



Speaking about the partnership, Olivia Tan, President and Representative Signatory of AIER, said:
