Choury Seng Joins AIER: Strengthening a Regional and Collaborative Goal towards Safe Research and Technology Transfer Practices

Cyberjaya, Malaysia –1 January 2025: The Association of Innovative Educational Research (AIER) is delighted to welcome Choury Seng, a dedicated and accomplished General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE) personnel, as an AIER member. 

Choury's extensive hands-on experience in export management and strategic trade control enforcement brings invaluable insight to AIER's efforts to enhance regional collaboration and expertise across Southeast Asia.

Since beginning her career as a Customs officer in 2016, Choury has demonstrated exceptional commitment to facilitating trade, ensuring compliance with national laws, and regulating the export of dual-use and strategic goods. 

As part of the GDCE Strategic Trade Control Enforcement Team, she has played a vital role in safeguarding trade systems while promoting secure and efficient practices. Her proactive participation in professional workshops underscores her dedication to continuous learning and development in this critical field.

Choury Seng has been a dedicated Customs officer with the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE) since 2016. Currently serving in the Department of Export Management, she specialises in scrutinising export documentation, facilitating trade, and ensuring compliance with national laws. In 2021, Choury joined the GDCE Strategic Trade Control Enforcement Team, where she focuses on regulating dual-use items and strategic goods to prevent misuse. Committed to professional growth, Choury actively participates in workshops and continuously seeks knowledge to enhance her expertise. Her dedication, integrity, and passion define her as an exemplary public servant.
