AIER and Politeknik Negeri Malang (POLINEMA) Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Advance Safe Research and Technology Collaboration

Cyberjaya, Malaysia – 6 January 2025– The Association of Innovative Educational Research (AIER) has formalised a partnership with Politeknik Negeri Malang (POLINEMA), a leading vocational higher education institution in Indonesia, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic collaboration aims to promote safe research practices, sustainable technology transfer, and innovative policy development across academia and industry.

AIER, a nonprofit organisation committed to fostering secure and sustainable innovation, will work with POLINEMA to explore impactful safe academic and research initiatives, including:
Hosting seminars, workshops, and forums on safe research, intellectual property (IP) management, IP commercialisation, cybersecurity, and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Terrorist Financing (TF), and Proliferation Financing (PF) frameworks.
Advocating for safe research practices through joint outreach and awareness programmes.
Collaborating on the responsible development of emerging technologies, particularly in artificial intelligence.
Developing policies to enhance safety protocols and response strategies for secure technology transfer between academia and industries.
