Associate Prof. Dr. Nor Ashikin Mohamed Yusof is an accomplished academician, former Advocates and Solicitors, legal expert, and STI policy advisor and developer with over 35 years of experience in commercial law, including international trade, intellectual property, and biotechnology law. She is a National Committee Member for AI Policy, Regulations, and Governance, reflecting her expertise in emerging technologies. Dr. Nor Ashikin has secured grants from global institutions such as WTO, JPO, UNIDO and CRDF. She consults on STI policies for ministries and international organizations, including UNESCO-ISTIC. As a finalist for Women in strategic trade award, she supports the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) on strategic trade and export control, combining legal insight, academic expertise, and policy innovation to drive impactful outcomes.
