Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng is the Assistant Professor at Multimedia University and a recipient of the Women of Strategic Trade (academia) award by WIST, USA and MITI, Malaysia. In June 2024, she was selected for the WITSMI Mentorship Programme Cohort II by Coalescion and the U.S. Department of State. A former advocate and solicitor specialising in corporate litigation, Dr. Tan is an expert in strategic trade and technology transfer. She has spoken at Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) Global Safe Research and Innovation Talks, highlighting her leadership in compliance and technology innovation.
